I always love having the opportunity to help document the 24 Hour Shoot Out for Helping Hoops. For more information on this awesome organisation who run free basketball clinics for underprivileged kids go here www.helpinghoops.com.au
A few weeks ago I was commissioned by T-world and Ambush Gallery to document Shepard Fairey's visit to Sydney for Vivid. It was a huge week which saw me documenting the different areas of Shepard's visit, to the wall, to the exhibition, to the Vivid Exchange Room to Darling Quarter!
I was commissioned by Tennis Australia to spend nearly 2 weeks shooting feature content at the 2017 Australian Tennis Open. It was such a great experience doing what I love best - observing and documenting the going-ons around the Open, and occasionally going court-side!
I found the details of the architecture of the love hotels in Shibuya fascinating, here are a few examples from my latest trip to Japan.
Once again I got to document the talented George Rose while she worked on a project in Wollongong, NSW.
PASSION IS UNIVERSAL. OPPORTUNITY IS NOT. This is the tag line for the project "Pass-A-Ball" Project. The idea is that you purchase one of their soccer balls, and another ball is passed onto a kid in need. Here are some snaps from a day in the park. I was recommended to ENTTEC via my client Artefact, who I was recommended to by my long time client Hot Black. From an interior design firm, to a custom lighting company, to the company that makes the tubes that go into some of those customs lights, what an awesome chain!
I had such a great day wondering around the ENTTEC factory capturing the process of making everything from the circuit boards to the tubes to the packing to the admin of the lighting. So many interesting things to photograph!
For the launch of the Westend Art Park in Rosslyn Str, West Melbourne Eddie Zammit curated 4 artists; George Rose, Georgia Hill, Ken Taylor and Phibs to live paint the word W E S T for the occasion. Here are a few snaps from the day.
